CLAT PG
The Consortium of NLUs will release the centralised CLAT LLM official notification. However, the dates for CLAT PG 2023 have been announced. The exam will be held on 18th December 2022. The exam is being held almost 5 months ahead of its usual schedule.

- The exam is conducted on a national level.
- The exam will be conducted in online mode.
- The application process will also be online. However, the exam duration will be 2 hours, i.e. 120 minutes.
- The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) conducts the exam.

AILET PG
One of the important LLM exams includes AILET. This exam provides admission to the LLM programme at National Law University, Delhi. However, NLU, Delhi, is the only NLU that conducts its entrance exam for admissions to UG and PG courses in legal studies instead of accepting the CLAT score for admissions. Since the LLM notification for AILET will be released soon. However, the application process is expected to start in January 2023. Other important details about the exam:

DU LLM 2023
Another very important entrance exam is the University of Delhi LLM exam. However, the aspirants can pursue their legal studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Delhi through this exam. The official LLM notification for DU admissions has not been released yet. However, it is expected to be released by May/June 2023.
Some other important details about the exam are:
- National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts DU LLM Exam. However, the same agency conducts all the entrance exams for University of Delhi UG and PG admissions.
- The application process will be in online mode.
- The exam will be in CBT (Computer based test) mode.
- The courses offered admission to are 2-year and 3-year LLM.

Other important LLM exams
- PU CET PG: Panjab University, Chandigarh, conducts this exam. Through PU CET PG, PU offers admission to various postgraduate programmes offered by various university departments. However, the Law Department of PU provides admission to LLM programmes. Therefore, the admission is based on the candidate’s PU CET PG score. The exam will be in offline mode. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
- BHU PET: BHU, in association with NTA, conducts its entrance exam for admission to various postgraduate programmes. Since the exam is held one time a year. So, it is quite difficult to crack the exam. However, it is in online mode every year. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. However, the university is yet to release its official notification for the LLM exam.
Apart from these two, we have other courses like TISSNET, LSAT, AP PGLCET, SAAT, TS PGLCET, CUCET, and CUSAT CAT. However, some other LLM exams provide admission to aspirants to various postgraduate programmes in legal studies. Since many colleges are conducting their entrance exam for LLM.
